Bringing together several musical loves — classical and chamber music, minimalist ideas, jazz, ... — Boehme leads and plays her double bass with verve, writing compositions that break down genre walls as powerfully as they are elegant. The band brings structure and improvisation together with colour and energy, with the powerful double bass in a central, driving role.
The collective's first full album was released in 2021 via W.E.R.F. Records, after which it was being presented widely in the Benelux: Flagey (Brussels), Handelsbeurs (Ghent), KC Nona (Mechelen), Jazz Middelheim (Antwerp), November Music (Den Bosch), CC Strombeek, ...
